The Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs in Osun, Hon Segun Olanibi has charged members of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state to remain steadfast to the cause of the Party, and promote policies and programs of the led government of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
Hon Olanibi made this known while speaking at the APC local government level meeting, held in Iwinkun Ijesa in Atakunmosa East Council Area of Osun.
He urged party members to close ranks, and discourage anything that could create cracks within the party in the area.
According to him, factional politics must be rejected among party faithful, as it is not healthy for the party.

The Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs also charged youths in the council area, and the state at large to key into the Community and Social Development program (CSDP) of the state.
According to him, the program, designed by Osun Government, is geared towards empowering the youth with necessary skills and, create business opportunities in their various communities.
Hon Olanibi urged youth to make good use of the soft loan/grant from the Government of Osun, saying the scheme will reduce unemployment.
He also applauded Governor of the State of Osun, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola for his brilliant idea and efforts towards eradicating poverty in the state, through Community and Social Development Program {CSDP}.
At the meeting in Iwikun-Ijesa were former Federal lawmakers, Hon Ajibola Famurewa, member State House of Assembly Hon Babatunde Festus Komolafe Representing Atakumosa East/West State Constituency, Council Chairmen in the area Hon Femi Kujembola and Hon Busuyi Makanjuola, Elder Oni, Lukman Abubakar, Asiwaju Rasaq,Ajewole, Prince Kola and Samesco among other chieftains of the party.
