Osun Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Hon Segun Olanibi says more communities will benefit from O-RAMP projects

Government of the state of Osun has said it will continue to improve transport conditions,  and bringing sustained access roads to the rural dwellers across the state.

The Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs in the State, Hon Segun Olanibi made this known during an on the spot assessment and inspection of projects in the Osun State Access and Mobility Project O-RAMP under his Ministry, at Ife North and Iwo Council areas of the state.

In the entourage during the inspection were the representatives of the World Bank,French and the Federal Govt RAMP.

Hon Olanibi said the projects were achievable through the efforts made by the State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola, who provided the counterpart funding for the projects at the inception.

The Commissioner said the state government under the leadership of Governor Oyetola wants to provide access to the population that does not have access to rural roads, to improve their Standard of living conditions,  and enable free flow of farm produce to the urban centre.

The Commissioner for Rural development and Community Affairs, expressed optimism that by the time the ongoing Projects are completed ,they will greatly benefit the people, just as he said that many more rural  communities in the state will  soon benefit from the upgrading, rehabilitation of rural transport Infrastructure,  construction and a host of others.

Hon Olanibi, however charged the people of the state to continue giving adequate support to the APC led- government at all levels, saying more dividends of democracy are underway.
