One Year in Office:APC Federal Lawmakers celebrate Governor Oyetola,organised football competition to mark the anniversary.

As encomiums keep pouring  on Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun on his achievements in the past one year in office, thousands of admirers and supporters of the governor are expected to join Governor Oyetola tomorrow in Oshogbo township stadium, for the final of the 2019 Governor's cup.

The is contained in a release by the coordinator of the event, Hon Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni MHR.

According to the release, the football competition, packaged by Osun FA and Allantedy Sports Promotions  is being powered by the Osun APC Federal Lawmakers.

The release says the third place match of charity cup will hold between Engineer Adelere Oriolowo Fc Iwo and Hon Taiwo Oluga Fc Ayedade at 10 in the morning while final of charity cup is between Ila United Fc and Asoju rere Fc Ifelodun.

According to the release, Hon Amobi Yinusa Fc and Royal Fc Ilobu will slog it out for the third place in the 2019 Governor's Cup.

It adds that Senator Ajibola Bashiru Fc will trade tackles with Bukoi Foundation Fc Ifon in the 2019 Governor's cup final this Saturday.

The release enjoins members of the public to come out en mass to celebrate Governor Oyetola ,who is the special guest of honour at the  event.

Osun State Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs,Hon Segun Olanibi has congratulated the Governor  of the State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, on the anniversary of his one year in office, describing the Governor as a friend of the masses.

Hon Olanibi, in a congratulatory message, said the achievement of Governor Oyetola within the first year in office  was the confirmation that the state will witness all-round development.

He described the accolades that the Governor has been receiving as an attestation that the people of Osun are happy with the progress the led-administration of Governor Oyetola has made so far.

Hon Olanibi expressed confidence that the governor Oyetola-led administration would consolidate on the achievements of his  first year in office, urging people not to relent in supporting the APC government at all levels.
The Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, therefore, rejoiced with the governor, assuring the people of Osun of timely delivery of genuine dividends of democracy before the expiration of the first term in office.

Hon Olanibi also congratulated the state deputy governor ,Benedict Alabi and the entire people of Osun on the occasion.

Nigerians have been admonished to take more active interest in developing the creative talents of the nations’ teeming youth population who are the creative genius of the next generation.

The lawmaker, representing Ilesa West state Constituency in the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon Wale Adedoyin made this known in chat with newsmen during the unveiling of a new album titled 'Merriment', by Bisi Afefe & the Breeze ,held at the foundation Hotel, Ilesa.

Hon Adedoyin, popularly known as 'Eyi Yato' who expressed surprised at the array of talents exhibited by Afefe ,and other artistes that performed at the occasion, drew attention of people to the immense potentials of the human mind and the endless possibilities offered by creativity and innovation.

 “this event put together by Bisi Afefe underscores the strategic importance of the younger generation of inventors, scientists, authors, musicians, artistes, etc., to the future of mankind and the sustenance of national aspirations in our increasingly knowledge-driven world,” said Hon Adedoyin.

While reiterating his interest to encourage and harness intellectual property of talented youths in Ilesa ,and environs, Hon Adedoyin urged the youth to work heard, get the best western education they could, and show the world the talents God has blessed them with.

Hon Adedoyin said he was proud of the creative talents exhibited by Bisi Afefe & the Breeze, promising to give him (Bisi Afefe) and other talents a hundred percent support.

Osun Economic& Investment Summit:Hon Olanibi hails Governor Oyetola,says Osun is heading towards speedy development

Osun State Commissioner for Rural and Community Affairs, Hon  Segun Olanibi has lauded  Governor Gboyega Oyetola on the ongoing Osun Economic and Investment Summit,describing it as a step towards radical development of the state.

Hon Olanibi made this known at the sideline of the ongoing summit at Arora event center Osogbo.

He eulogised Governor Oyetola's submission that Foreign Direct Investment {FDI} is key to the projects, and that Osun Development Agenda top the priority of his Government.

Governor Oyetola  earlier in his speech congratulated the people of Osun on the abundant natural resources that the state is blessed with, noting that the resources are enough to cater for the needs of the state.

The Commissioner for Rural and Community Affairs described Governor Oyetola has s a rare gift to the state.

'The Governor's thinking is in the right direction with the summit , having realised that oil business will not sustain the economy without dabbling into mining,agriculture, culture and tourism,which Osun is endowed with', said Olanibi.

The 2019 Asa day celebration organised by the Osun state chapter  forum of community development and information practitioners of Nigeria holds on Thursday 28th Nov.2019.

Venue of the Asa day billed for morning is the multi purpose hall of the state of Osun Local government service commission.

A statement jointly signed by the chairman forum of community development and information practitioners FCDIP  Adegboyega Aderinwale Omoloju Olodumare,secretary Omotoyosi Adetuberu,chairman planning committee  Olalekan Bamidele and scribe Florence Adekunle indicates that governor state of Osun Mr.Gboyega Oyetola is the chief guest of honour while speaker state parliament Rt.Hon.Timothy Owoeye is the special guest of honour.

According to the statement wife of the state governor Mrs.Kafayat Oyetola is the mother of the day,Engr.chief Tunde Ponle father of the day while Dr.Mrs.Adeola Adijat Faleye of the linguistics and African languages Obafemi Awolowo OAU Ile-Ife is the guest lecturer at the event.
