I want to once again express my genuine appreciation to the great men and women of Ijesa South Federal Constituency, Osun, for their genuine interest ,faith and trust in me as their candidate for the House of Representatives under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the election held on February 23, 2019.

At that time, both the presidential and National Assembly elections were held simultaneously, and to the glory of God I emerged victorious.

A year has gone by indeed when you the 'electorates' , men and women, old and young ,trooped out in large numbers ,and cast their votes for me.

You difiled all odds , in ensuring the victory of our party.

You were enthusiastic about the elections an turned out in large numbers to cast your ballot. 

 I recall that in spite of the orgy of violence in some of the polling units, the elections were largely peaceful, and you wholeheartedly gave me the mandate on February 23, 2019.

Since the inauguration of the 9th National Assembly, my humble self as your able representative, representing Ilesa West, Ilesa East, Atakunmosa West and Atakunmosa East Federal Constituency,  have been doing everything to ensure that we have more Federal government presence in our Constituency.

 I have continued to live up to your expectations as a Federal Lawmaker, and as a grassroot politicians who have made giving back to the public his  trademark through my foundation -L.B Ayeni Empowerment Foundation.

I sincerely appreciate your trust , and support this far, and i want to enjoin you to support me in prayers , to enable me do more before the end of our tenure in office.

My office is open to all, while liaison officers are also within your reach, to attend to you.

In a matter of months , another set of beneficiaries of L.B Ayeni Empowerment Foundation will have their graduation ceremony, and will be equipped as usual.

 Once again, i say thanks to everyone, my party leaders ,market men and women, civil servants, retirees , artisans, royal fathers, chiefs, party men and women, youths , various groups, security operatives, and religious bodies among others for your love , and keen interest in my ability to bring dividends of democracy to your doorsteps.

May God Almighty be with you, and grant all of us long life, good health , and everything to enjoy life ,as we the great people of Ijesa South Federal Constituency move onto the greatness. Amen!

Night of Wonders;RCCG Royal Embassy,Abiola Ilesa,holds an all night prayer tagged;'Ogo Titun' on 11 March,free vehicles available

Another round of prayers, and worship of praise ,tagged; Night of Wonders , with the theme , a new glory(Ogo Titun), organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God Royal Embassy,Ilesa,will hold on the11th of March , 2020.

Venue is Mount Camel Prayer Village , Ifewara ,Osun State, begining from 7 pm till day break.

This is contained in a release my the host ministers, Pastor and Pastor Mrs Olajire Adedigba.

It says ministering are; Pastor in-charge RCCG Region 3 Ile Ife, Pastor Jonson Adeniran , Pastor in-charge Osun Province 3, Pastor David Balogun, Prophet and Lady Evangelist Funso Akande (baba abiye Ede), Pastor and Pastor Mrs Ajifilokun and a host of others.

According to the release, vehicles to convey people to the venue free of charge are available at RCCG  Royal Embassy Abiola, RCCG Mega Centuary ,Eruru, RCCG Rehoboth Cathedral, Ife, RCCG Esa Oka, RCCG Imesi Ile , Ijebujesa Roundabout and Ereguru Ilesa by 3 O'clock in the evening.

It enjoins members of the public who are going through series of challenges of life to be part of the expolisive prayers session, and experience divine encounter as they come with their Bible , and faith .

Indigenous languages describe as an instruments of peace and development.

     
 As today marks this year “world mother language day”, Indigenous languages have been described as an instruments of peace and development in order to keep people connected to the culture and strengthen the pride and self-worth.
The Yoruba Broadcasters Association YBA, Osun state chapter, stated this in a statement to mark this year mother language day with the theme: indigenous languages matter for development, Peace building and reconciliation.
The statement signed by the state secretary, Aare Fawale Isaiah, said the day is mainly focused on promoting awareness of cultural value in order to save indigenous languages from going into extinction.
He urged Yorubas to prevent their indigenous languages from going into extinction, saying speaking indigenous languages in media stations will help in developing and protecting cultural value.
He called on state government across the South-west to adopt the indigenous language as official language in their activities.

BABALOLA FROWNS AT POOR PUBLICITY OF OSUN GOVERNMENT ACTIVITIES

The Coordinating Director Local Government Service Commission State of Osun, Barr Lekan Babalola has frowned at the inadequate publicity of government activities in the State.

Barrister Babalola disclosed this in his office while playing host to the campaign team of Comrade Bukola Elufadejin who is contesting for the post of the scribe of of the state council  of Nigeria Union Of Journalists  Nuj.

He expressed displeasure at the inadequate coverage given to some local government staff recently pardoned by Governor Gboyega Oyetola that pursued higher qualification without notifying the government adequately.

The coordinating director local government service commission stressed that such lackadaisical altitude  to pursue their personal program and other related offences led to their demotions according to the civil service rules.

 He described Governor Oyetola as a loving father, a passionate, God fearing, and a listening leader who is ready to do anything possible within his reach to make people happy.

Barr Babalola described some achievements of the government within a year of his administration as unpresidented .

He further implored  journalists to be fair in their reportage of government activities to the society at large.

Responding, chairman Elufadejin campaign committee who is also the chairman of the local government information Chapel of Osun NUJ, Comrade Adegboyega Omolojuolodumare said journalists in the state are trying their best in projecting the government activities,stressing that though  it may not be enough due to inadequate training and retraining of the grass root journalists, lack of adequate equipments and other relevant tools.

Comrade Omolojuolodumare intimated the coordinating director about the efforts so far made by the NUJ Local Government Information Chapel in terms of training and retraining of members in which approvals has been secured from all privately owned Media houses in the state including  federal government Media houses to partner with the local government service commission to train  information officers in batches( 3 months in radio, three months in television arm) with no financial implications on the part of the government.

He  stressed that this  will give each information officers adequate knowledge about the house style of  media house in the state and to ensure accurate and prompt reportage of the government activities right from the grass root to the entire world.

In his responce the coordinating director Barr Lekan Babalola who expressed Joy commended  leadership of the chapel on the steps taken so far and promised the readiness of the commission to implement the idea immediately .



He further said " The commission will be ever ready to implement anything that will promote the activities of the present government to the whole world, this he maintained will be the priority of the local government service commission under the chairmanship of Elder Tunde Adedeji"

He said, the present Local Government service commission chairman is a man of excellent who will always support any action(s) that can lead to excellent projections of activities of the present administration across the length and breath of the state and beyond.

God created human beings; he created them godlike, Reflecting God's nature. He created them male and female. God blessed them: "Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge!

It can be best describe as an all eyes matrimony and mother of all events filled with gathering of high-profile personalities from all walks of life at the popular Redeem Christian Church of God, Alekuwode Area osogbo, Osun State wherea OLUBUKOLA Adedayo tied the knot with his heartthrob ADERETI Adesewa on Saturday 2020.


The much mouthed elaborated wedding was well outlined and properly managed by the planning committee from the beginning to the end as guests were adequately recognised and fully entertained with all kinds of foods and assorted drinks of their choice for optimum satisfaction.

It was one of the best event in town showcasing a highly talented Master of Ceremony pastor Aderinwale Adegboyega
(M.C Omolojuolodumare) who left no one with alternative option than to laugh away the ugly trend of the world with his native intelligence of unusual and laughter-thrilled jokes. Such a wonderful comedian is needed around at this trying period to live a happy life. He was too wonderful.


Good music wasn't left behind as one of the best contemporary musicians in Nigeria amused the attendees and celebrants with amazing songs to a full fledged dancing steps.

In his thank you message, the groom appreciated the prayers and supports enjoyed from his parents, bride family, friends, relatives, and associates at home and diaspora.

 He charged parents to strictly monitor their wards to reduce moral laxity among youths. He lauded his bride parents for granting his request to hitched their well nurtured daughter.

Adesewa, a gentle looking, pretty, well nurtured and God fearing lady who got hooked by good-looking and exceptionally gentleman hailed from Ise Ekiti in Ekiti State and his wife from the Adereti Atiki Royal family of Ile Ife in Osun State, Nigeria.

Free Jamb Form: Speaker, Osun House of Assembly, charges students in the state to shun exam malpractices.


Speaker, Osun State House of Assembly , Hon Timothy Owoeye  has urged students in the state to study hard to excel in their education pursuit.

Hon Owoeye made this known today in Ilesa during a short test conducted for students who are to benefit from a free jamb form exercise ,sponsored by Timothy Owoeye Foundation.

The speaker , represented by his Chief of Staff ,Hon Obisesan Olasunkanmi urged students in the State to  shun examination malpractices and other forms of sharp practices.



The lawmaker, who represents Ilesa constituency in the state House of Assembly said the idea of procuring the jamb forms for the students under his empowerment foundation was towards building human capacity, and to ease the burden of parents and guardians.

Hon Owoeye, therefore pledged to  continue supporting education of the entire students of the state through his foundation.

While speaking with journalists shortly after the test, the principal Ilesa Government High School who supervised the test, Mr Adepoju Sunday, expressed satisfaction on the conduct of the candidates, urging Hon Timothy Owoeye not to relent in giving back to the society.

He said the test would encourage seriousness and heathy rivalry for excellence among students, adding that nothing is wrong with the standard of education in Osun.

On his part , a parent at the venue of the test , Mr Aiku Johnson appreciated the philanthropic gesture of Hon Timothy Owoeye, saying empowerment goes beyond distributions of grinding machines, gas cookers, refrigerators, bags of rice, Semo, chicken, and motorcycles popularly known as 'Okada' .

Mr Aiku observed that Nigeria can become great again when people have accessed to sound education, and have their future moulded by a responsive and responsible government,   well meaning individuals and nongovernmental organizations.

According to him, empowering the children of  the less privileged  parents, in the area of education, remains the best.

Meanwhile, over four hundred students took part in the test today, held at Ilesa Government High School, Ilesa.

Hon Ayeni empowers 50 youths on fish production, trains school children on the need to adopt new innovations through biotechnology.


Nigerians have been changed to embrace new ideas and innovations , with a view to benefit more from raw natural resources and byproducts that the nation is blessed with.

Director Center for Bioresurces Development, Ogbomoso, Dr Oyedele Julius gave the charge in Ilesa at a workshop ,organised for school children in Ilesa West and Ilesa East Council areas.

The workshop, with the theme, Awareness Training for secondary school students on the prospect of adopting Biotechnology enterprises , was facilitated by the lawmaker, representing Ijesa South Federal Constituency, Hon L.B Ayeni, through the National Biotechnology Development Agency Federal Ministry of Science and Technology.

Dr Oyedele Julius said the essence of the training was to encourage school age children to embrace biotechnology, which according to him, is the use of byproducts among many indigenous items for the benefit of people.

He said it will also enable the students to acquire skills ,to develop themselves, and build a career.

Earlier while declaring the workshop open, Hon L.B Ayeni MHR said the idea of the workshop is to the benefit of his constituents, adding that the world is fast becoming a global village, and Nigeria must not be left behind in embracing new innovation.

He explained that his immediate predecessor Hon Ajibola Famurewa while in office initiated the workshop.

According to Hon Ayeni, since government is continuum  , he pushed for the implementation and execution of the workshop for the benefit of his people.

Hon Ayeni , therefore urged participants of the workshop , that included Saint Lawrence middle schools, and Ajimoko Middle school both from Ilesa to utilize the knowledge gained at the workshop.

Also on the day two of the seminar ,the training focused on fish production, where about 50 participants were trained on how to breed and rear fish to a table size.
As the two days event ended today 31 of January at the Foundation Event Center , Ido Ijesa ,Ilesa, all the participants went home with token while they formed a cooperative society , to enable them fund their fish production business.

At the workshop were chieftains of APC in Ijesa South Federal Constituency such as Elder Kunle Odeyemi, Hon Idowu Korede, Hon Oni, Hon Ajeleti, Hon Idowu Falade, Hon Padma, and Honourable members from Ilesa West Central among others.
