In its bid towards building human capacity of the people of the State of Osun, Timothy Owoeye Foundation has rolled out free jamb forms to thousands of admission seekers into tertiary institutions.
The beneficiaries of the free Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) forms ,who will participate in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are drawn from across the state.
This is contained in a release by the coordinator , Timothy Owoeye Foundation, Hon Jonson Komolafe.
According to the release, a short test will be conducted for candidates this Saturday at Ilesa Government High School, Ilesa by 9in the morning, to encourage seriousness, excellence and diligence among students.
It adds that those who will benefit from the gesture must pass the test, and must have obtained their O'level result.
The release says the gesture is opened to everyone ,regardless of ethnicity, tribe , religion and political affiliation.
The initiative is one of many empowerment schemes ,personally sponsored by the Right Honourable Timothy Owoeye, the Speaker of Osun State House of Assembly ,through his foundation.

High Court declares HRM Oba Adesanmi Okikiola Ilufemiloye 1 authentic Aloba of Iloba Ijesa
It was a jubilation galore on the 22nd January ,2020 for family, friends and the people of Iloba Ijesa as a High Court, sitting in Ilesa delivered its judgement in favour of Oba Alayeluwa Adesanmi Okikiola Ilufemiloye the first as the authentic Aloba of Iloba.
The judgement delivery took over an hour.
Speaking with journalists after the judgment, Oba Alaiyeluwa Adesanmi Okikiola Ilufemiloye the first -the Aloba of Iloba Ijesa thanked God , the Council of Obas in Atakumosa West, the Ijesa South traditional Council , and the authority of Atakumosa West council area for their supports.
He also thanked his chiefs ,including Chief Alhaji Doctor Ismail Ogini- the Ejemo of Iloba, chief Lamidi Sunmonu- the Aaro of Iloba and Chief Adewusi- the Arapate of Iloba, the elders ,sons and daughters of Iloba, and his family, and the family of Ariyanlola - Nikunogbo, for their prayers ,and support in the last 4years of a fierce egal battle.
The Aloba of Iloba Ijesa described the judgment delivered as a well deserved victory from God , and victory to the entire eople of Iloba.
Kabiesi also thanked Olori Ile Chief Sam Ojoniyi, and Pa Idowu Ojoniyi, his own brother Oba Alaiyeluwa Olabanjo Ojoniyi- the Oloke Aagbon , and Olori Ebi Odole Adumirinn Arobiomo Ogbeni Ademola Oladeji Fatukasi for their trust and support , praying God to grant them all a long life in good health.

Special Assignments Will Keep Me Away From My People For 3 Weeks - Hon L.B Ayeni
The lawmaker , representing Ijesa South Federal Constituency in the House of Representative, Hon Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni has assured his constituents of adequate representation in the new year at the green chamber.
The grassroot politician also said he won't be available back home to attend to his people as usual for the next three weeks, explaining that he would have to be in Abuja ,and thereafter travel abroad for three weeks over issues of great importance.
This is contained in a release issued by his media and publicity office.
According to the release, Hon Ayeni has since the inception of the 9th assembly never missed a weekend without coming home from Abuja , to attend to his people.
The release says those who might want to see the lawmaker for one reason or the other should meet his liaison officers at Okess , just as it promises that Hon Ayeni will continue his open door policy in the discharge of his statuary duties.
While congratulating his constituents for witnessing the new year, Hon Ayeni urged the people to start the year with high hope and expectations , prayed to God to bless everyone in the new year.
He said his good gestures towards everyone and the new year gifts, which cannot reach all will be consolidated upon anytime soon, appealing to his supporters to bear with him.
Hon Ayeni also said his empowerment foundation will continue unabated as another set of beneficiaries will soon be equipped with working tools.
He prayed God to bless and protect everyone in Ijesa South Federal Constituency this year, urging the people of Osun to continue supporting Governor Gboyega Oyetola 's administration.

Youths across the federation have been charged not to lose hope on the future of Nigeria.
Hon Ola-Babajide Ojeniyi made this known while addressing some youths in Ipetu-Ijesa, Osun State.
Hon Ojeniyi who was accorded a rousing welcome back home by the people of Ipetu-Ijesa, expressed optimism that the country could be changed for the better if the younger generation would strive to change the status quo and redeem the nation’s battered image through hard work, prayers diligence and patriotism.
The member of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) said the the federal government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari has given the template for good governance, and youths are ready to take charge.
Hon Ola-Babajide Ojeniyi urged the youths never to give up on the country.
While speaking on what it entails to lead, Hon Ojeniyi described leadership as the ability to mobilise, have a vision and inspire, as well as the ability to take people from one place to a better one.
According to him, leadership is not about title, but about making an impact in the society.
He also charged parents to encourage their children to actively involve in politics, saying it is worrisome that Nigeria is a nation where most intelligent youths do not want to go into politics because they see it as dirty.
The Ipetu-Ijesa born businessman cum politician also observed that farmers in the rural areas must be given necessary supports, to encourage farming as being done in other climes, to achieve mass food production and security in the country.
