Hon L.B Ayeni sets to inaugurate aides, presents awards of recognition to Speaker Osun, Korede,Famurewa, others on Friday.
The lawmaker , representing Ijesa South Federal Constituency, Hon Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni will on Friday (27th of this month) inaugurates his liaison officers and aids.
This is contained in a release issued by the media and publicity office of the federal lawmaker.
According to the release , venue is Foundation Hotel and Event Center, Ido Ijesa.
It adds that the event coincides with the presentation of awards of honour to prominent individuals , in recognition of their selfless services to humanity.
The awards presentation is being organised by L.B Ayeni Foundation, Ilesa.
According to a statement by the organizer, the recipients of the prestigious awardes are; Right Hon Timothy Owoeye - Legislature Award of the Year, Hon Idowu Korede -Leadership Award, Hon Ajibola Famurewa - Leadership Award, Hon Seun Osagidigbi- Sports legendary Award, and Baba Mojibare - Meritorious Award on Religious Matters.
Others are officer Jafar Taofeek - Stewardship Award, iya loja Atakunmosa- Award of excellent for her selfless service toward women Development, Comrade Olanilekan Salami - Award of excellent in community Development, and Uniq FM ,Ilesa- Award of excellent in recognition of its contributions to social development

2019 Iwude Ijesa ’ll usher in good tidings for Ijesas home and abroad.- Hon Segun Olanibi
As the people of Ijesaland will on Saturday gathered to celebrate the annual Iwude Ijesa festival in Ilesa the headquarter of Ijesas, Prince Segun Olanibi, the Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, has described the annual festival as the pride of the people of Ijesaland.
Hon Olanibi made this known in his congratulatory message to the Paramount ruler of Ijesaland, Oba Dr Adekunle Aromolaran CFR LLD ,the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland, and sons and daughters of the land.
While expressing optimism that the prayers that come with the festival will bring more progress, development and peace to the length and breadth of Ijesaland, Hon Olanibi prayed for stronger bond among the people of Ijesaland,as well as better days for the land.

He lauded spirited efforts made by Kabies and APC government, towards ensuring peace and development of the land, just as he welcomed Governor Gboyega Oyetola , the minister of Interior Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and other prominent sons and daughters of Ijesaland to the festival.
'I appreciate everyone for sustaining this rich cultural heritage bequeathed on “this generation by our forefathers.” said Prince Olanibi.
The Commissioner urged Ijesa people to use the celebration to forge closer ties with friends and neighbours, as well as the state Governor ,Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, who is passionate about overall development of Ijesaland , and Osun State at large.
“i wish His Imperial Majesty a memorable celebration, good health and the divine wisdom to continue to lead us to greatness,” said Olanibi.
Hon Olanibi also assured the people at the rural areas in Osun of the resolve of the state government under the leadership of Governor Oyetola to make life meaningful for them through the provision of good access roads, link roads and a host of others.

Iwude-Ijesa 2019: Hon L.B Ayeni(MHR) felicitates with Owa Obokun of Ijesaland,others, calls for peace among youths.
Ahead of the 2019 Iwude-Ijesa annual festival, the lawmaker, representing Ijesa South Federal Constituency ,Hon Lawrence Babatunde Ayeni has called for unity of purpose among the people of Ijesaland.
Hon Ayeni made this known in his congratulatory message to the paramount ruler of Ijesaland, Oba Dr Adekunle Aromolaram , and the entire Ijesa home and abroad on the occasion of Iwude-Ijesa.

The lawmaker, who said the annual festival has been in existence for many years, added that it will do the region good if the festival becomes a unifying force cum rallying point for business development among the people of Ijesaland.
Hon Ayeni observed that royalty, fashion, style, elegance, rich cultural display among others have made the festival a unique indigenous festival in Yoruba land.
While calling for peace among the youths in Ijesaland, Hon Ayeni said it sadden his heart each time the youths in Ijesaland engaged in violence attack , killing and wanton destruction of property.
The federal lawmaker called for calm and understanding among the youths in the area, saying the time is now for them to take leadership roles.
Hon Ayeni, therefore congratulated the Owa Obokum Adimula of Ijesaland, other Obas, Chiefs, and the entire people of Ijesaland on this year's Iwude-Ijesa festival , just as he welcomed Governor Gboyega Oyetola and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola to the annual festival.

NGO powers free empowerment program tagged; Osun 2019 Business Empowerment Summit,urges people to throng Abraham Christian Resource cente,Osogbo on 14th Dec.for the event.
Towards empowering the people of the state of Osun and environs, a non governmental organisation known as Passion Hill Foundation Nigeria in conjunction with Vision Biotech International has organised a forum tagged ' Osun 2019 Business Empowerment Summit.
Venue is Abraham Christian Resource center, opposite Capital Hotel , Osogbo.

Osun: Gov. Oyetola Breaks Records, commissions first of its kind Braille Centre in Nigeria.
It was a celebration galore among the people living with disabilities in various schools for students with special needs in Osun on Tuesday the 3rd of December 2019 as Governor Gboyega Oyetola commissioned a 4-in-1 Project in the agency of Community and Social Development Program (CSDP) under the Ministry of Rural Development and Community Affairs that has beeb adequately managed by its Commissioner Hon Segun Olanibi.
The projects included Braille Centre, Tricycles for the people with disabilities, the ultramodern Girls Hostel for the secondary school students and perimeter fencing of children with special needs.
According to Governor Oyetola, the projects are designed to mark
"2019 World Disability Day."
Addressing the gathering, the Governor, said that the four laudable projects commissioned will enhance the less privileged to learn in a conducive atmosphere,especially the braille centre which will enabled the Special students, to have access to basic teaching and learning facilities that includes text books which the facility can also convert to audio format for the blind students to learn.
According to the governor, the tricycles commissioned will take care the plight of those without legs to ease their movement, and also earn a living if they are so wish to work at the facility after school hours.
Governor Oyetola also said the girls hostels are built and designed to protect and make life more meaningful for female students.
While eulogising the efforts of Governor Oyetola towards making life bearable for people with disabilities, the commissioner for rural development and community affairs, Hon Segun Olanibi applauded the Governor for what he described as his unflinching support for the people with special needs despite the paucity of funds in the state.
The commissioner charged people of Osun to continue supporting the administration of Governor Oyetola, saying the present administration is passionate about the welfare , safety and comfort of its teeming population.
The unveiling of the projects attracted people from all walks of life, who lauded Governor Oyetola for the landmark achievement recorded since he assumed office in the past one year .

Ilesa Chapter of Ipetumodu Progressive Union IPU Felicitates with New Apetumodu Oba Prof Joseph Olugbenga Oloyede Latimogun 1
As Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun will today December 5, 2019 presents the new Apetumodu of Ipetumodu ,Oba Professor Joseph Kolawole Olugbenga Oloyede the staff and instruments of office , the indigenes of Ipetumodu have been charged to give the Oba a maximum support, to move the ancient town forward.
Dignitaries that includes sons and daughters of Ipetumodu, from near and far will witness the coronation of the new Apetumodu ,holding in Origbo Community high school, Ipetumodu.

This is contained in a congratulatory message by a forefront social-cultural group known as Ipetumodu Progressive Union IPU ,Ilesa branch, signed by its chairman Engineer Akintaro, Patron Ayo Okunola and PRO Oyedun Matthew.
While welcoming Governor Oyetola to Ipetumodu, the Ilesa chapter of IPU expresses gratitude to God, saying the new Apetumodu is a blessing to the people of the town as the Oba's wealth of experience, connection and exposure will bring the much desired development to the town.
The IPU Ilesa chapter in the release congratulated Oba Professor Joseph Olugbenga Oloyede on his coronation as the new Apetumodu of Ipetumodu, prayed to God to grant the monarch wisdom , understanding , knowledge and native intelligence to enable him reign for long on the throne of his forefathers.
The Union, therefore pledged its unalloyed support to the new Oba and his chiefs, thanking Governor Oyetola, his cabinet members, sons and daughters of Ipetumodu home and abroad for the success of the memorable event.
